"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."
Mark Twain

If the road ahead gets rough... will you be prepared?
We are eternal optimists and are always hopeful that the road ahead will be smooth – but we are also realists and believe in being prepared. Sometimes the road ahead gets rough, and if it does we want to be ready. The FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) website lists 17 types of disasters that can and have occurred in the United States including hurricanes, floods, tornadoes, tsunamis, earthquakes and wildfires. In past year alone, FEMA declared 75 disasters including severe cold, floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, mudslides, landslides and wildfires. In 2005 Hurricane Katrina directly impacted over 1.5 million people and more than 800,000 people were forced to live outside their homes.
What can you do to be prepared? The FEMA website is a great place to learn about preparing for emergencies, but think of the peace of mind that having a fully self-contained four wheel drive expedition vehicle would provide. An EarthRoamer XV-LT provides an 85 gallon water supply, a 90 gallon fuel supply (range approximately 1000 miles) and plenty of storage space for food and gear. Four wheel drive, a turbo-diesel engine, high output lighting, front and rear winches and off-road tires with military bead-lock wheels will ensure that you get to your destination. Once you arrive safely 510 watts of solar power and a 510 amp-hour battery bank will provide power for all necessary systems. Sleeping facilities, a galley and bathroom with toilet and shower provide for the necessities of life.
Communications options like ham radio, satellite phone, BGAN satellite internet, satellite TV and cell phone boosters will ensure that you stay connected and informed. Need a high output mobile generating system? Have us install an AuraGen mobile power system on your EarthRoamer and you will have a "go anywhere" 8.5 kW power source that can be used to keep your home or business running during power outages. Need mobile protection against biological and chemical hazards? Have us install an ISO 9001 certified air filtration system to provide a supply of filtered air for up to 6 people. An EarthRoamer Xpedition Vehicle will provide powerful peace of mind that you are prepared for even the "roughest roads" that may lie ahead.
"It is a rough road that leads to the heights of greatness" Lucius Annaeus Seneca, mid-1st century AD

 EarthRoamer Xpedition Vehicles
If you have a desire to get off the beaten path and explore, but can't picture yourself in a typical RV, we have the answer for you — a four wheel drive, all weather EarthRoamer Xpedition Vehicle (XV). We manufacture and sell what we believe are the ultimate 4WD campers. Our EarthRoamer XVs are equipped with all the systems needed to travel confidently in remote areas for extended periods of time without dependence on external campsite hookups. Why be tethered to a concrete pad in an RV, when you can be experiencing adventure in an XV?
We have been building and rigorously testing expedition vehicles for nearly a decade from the bitter shores of the Arctic Ocean in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska to the warm soothing waters of the Sea of Cortez and throughout mainland Mexico and Central America. We rely on our vehicles in harsh environments, so we build our vehicles to last. We use the highest quality materials, hardware and components. We are so confident in the quality of our vehicles that we provide a factory three year/36,000 mile warranty.
We believe in preserving the environment for the adventurers of tomorrow, so our vehicles are designed to be powered by renewable energy sources like solar power and biodiesel, and we actively support the Tread Lightly philosophy of responsible recreation.
We encourage you to compare the value of an EarthRoamer Xpedition Vehicle (XV) with other recreational vehicles (RVs). There is no other choice that provides the quality, durability, and convenience of operations in a package with four-wheel drive and four-season capability. With an EarthRoamer XV, you can truly Live Your Dream!

Demo EarthRoamer XV-JP for Sale
Want a great deal on an XV-JP?
We need to clear out a 2007 EarthRoamer XV-JP demo rig to make room for the 2009 models. The demo XV-JP rig for sale is green, has 28,778 miles on it and is already a tried-and-proven winner. It is the first XV-JP built and has successfully completed two trips to Mexico and Central America. It is also the first self-contained camper to complete the Rubicon. This XV-JP is also quite the celebrity and is co-staring in a new TV show called American Xplorer airing now on the HDNet channel. We are asking $59,500 for this "experienced" XV-JP. EarthRoamer Owners Rally 2008
EarthRoamer Owners Rallies are a great way for owners to meet each other, spend time with EarthRoamer employees and learn how to get the most out of the EarthRoamer experience. The rallies are held annually at locations within a day's drive of EarthRoamer headquarters. EarthRoamer employees and EarthRoamer Xpedition Vehicle owners are invited to participate. In addition to being a lot of fun, rallies typically include training on four-wheel drive techniques, recovery tactics, wilderness safety, and expedition travel.
The 2008 EarthRoamer Owners Rally was held near Leadville Colorado and event highlights included a drive over Mosquito and Weston Passes, exploring the historic mining town of Leadville, Colorado and riding the spectacular Royal Gorge Railroad. A presentation on the Iditarod by EarthRoamer Owner's Ron and Mary Louise and an EarthRoamer Adventures presentation by Scott Brady were both fun and informative and inspired atendees to get out and explore.

Photography
Good photographers don't take photographs, they make photographs. Making good pictures is challenging and requires vision, good technique and high quality equipment. To really make good photographs, the photographer must see beyond what is there, and have a vision of what can be there. Photography in many ways was the start of EarthRoamer.
