After returning to Colorado, I spent most of November upgrading my suspension and tires, and tying up a few loose ends. In December, an big storm was headed our way and I was eager to test my new camper in the mountains. I headed for Vail Colorado, and set up camp at Vail Pass.
Camping at 10,665 foot Vail Pass in December was a good test for my new camper. The temperature dropped to below zero farenheit and I awoke to a camper covered in snow. Other than an easily resolved minor problem with the heater, the truck and camper performed perfectly in this challenging environment.
