My rear Denver Off Road storage bumper is where I store a shovel, recovery straps, 100 feet of 3/8-inch proof chain and a Hi-Lift jack in addition to the Warn winch. I dug the snow out from the differentials with the shovel, hooked the chain to a large rock and hooked up the rear winch. In couple of minutes I was free. I spent a few minutes digging a path for my tires to follow, and on the next charge I made it through the snow and drove the remaining couple of hundred feet to a nice level parking spot to set up camp. I had plowed a path through the last obstacle blocking access to the trailhead parking lot, and subsequent SUVs, trucks and Jeeps quickly took advantage of my trailblazing efforts.
