...we finally reached the summit!

After 3 1/2 hours of strenuous hiking we had climbed the required 3,040 feet from the trailhead to the summit, and were enjoying the views from the top of Colorado. Michele had reached the summit of her first fourteener and I was standing on top of a fourteener for the 44th time.
