This was a common scene on my drive through Baja. Visions of my EarthRoamer® rusting in the Mexican desert helped keep me focused on the task at hand.
As always when I depart to explore new places, I was both excited and apprehensive. I was excited about beginning another adventure, meeting people and spending time on the road with my new camper. At the same time I was apprehensive about driving alone through a third world country. I knew from previous experiences that great adventures and disastrous adventures are often separated by a very fine line. A bad decision or just plain bad luck can quickly change a fun vacation into a struggle for survival.
