At the top of the Mesa we are greeted by Scott Brady of Expeditions West, and EarthRoamer XV-LT owners Vince and Bettie, and Mother Nature's gift of six to eight inches of fresh snow. We proceed a short distance to Rally Camp 1 to check the road condition into Camp 1. On our summer scouting run the road into Camp 1 was deeply rutted and rocky but dry and solid, now it is a sloppy, snow covered mud bog with snow obscured rocks and deep holes - but easily passable in our EarthRoamer XV-LTs. |
