After enjoying the sun set behind the dunes, the fire was stoked in earnest and the steaks began to sizzle. The kids enjoyed "cooking" marshmallows over the fire and watching movies before retiring to the 'Roamer and dreams of adventure the next morning. At night, the diesel air heater kept everyone warm, and the solar panels and battery bank provided plenty of power for lights, water pump, refrigeration and movies for the kids. |
