Another time I needed four-wheel was when I made a quick day trip to Yellowstone in search of wildlife. The weather was clear the day I drove to Yellowstone, but the next morning it began to snow. I was excited about the opportunity to photograph wildlife in the snow, until a ranger stopped me and said that they were closing many of the park roads and exits. He said that the only way out of the park was to head north since the south exit leading t o the Tetons was closed.
