Notice the berth (sailor talk for cot) on the starboard (sailor talk for right) side of the boat. We used the line and pulley contraption when sleeping to try to keep the bed somewhat level. This worked pretty well, at least until we tacked (sailor talk for making the boat lean the other way) and had to readjust it.
