In many ways, Bill's passion for photography was the catalyst that precipitated the creation of EarthRoamer. In his pursuit to make pictures that move people, Bill created the EarthRoamer ER2K, which later led to the design, development and production of the EarthRoamer® Xpedition Vehicles. You could say that the EarthRoamer® Xpedition Vehicles are the ultimate piece of photo gear.
EarthRoamer® Xpedition Vehicles are certainly expensive pieces of photo equipment, but they really do help in getting better pictures. An EarthRoamer can carry you to remote places with all of your gear, and it enables you to stay at a location and be comfortable while waiting for the best light or the perfect photo opportunity. A big part of photography is patience and persistence, and it is a lot easier to be patient and persistent when you are warm, rested and fed.
Good photographers don't take photographs, they make photographs. Making good pictures is challenging and requires a vision, good technique and high quality equipment. To really make good photographs, the photographer must see beyond what is there, and have a vision of what can be there.
