The 2007 EarthRoamer Owners Rally will be held from August 1-August 6th in the San Juan National Forest, near Durango, Colorado.
San Juan National Forest Info
We have reserved campsites near Vallecito Reservoir at the edge of Weminuche Wilderness Area. This is a beautiful area with an abundance of outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, river rafting, and four wheeling. We will be based out of one campsite this year to make the logistics easier for EarthRoamer employees who will be tent camping. We are planning side trips to Mesa Verde Indian Ruins and a ride on the Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad. As more details are developed, we will be contacting present owners for interest and attendance.
Like previous rallies, EarthRoamer will have catered dinners and probably one breakfast. Last year's food was outstanding and we'll continue in that vein. Scott Brady from Expeditions West will again be joining us. We'll have informative sessions on four wheel techniques and wilderness medical training along with presentations on Bill Swail's Central American Expedition and Scott Brady's Artic Expedition.
Rally fees are yet to be determined, but it will cover the cost of food, camping fees and other group activities. Don't miss out on this opportunity to get to know your fellow EarthRoamer owners and spend some time with the people who built your vehicle.
